FAQ

  • We’re right in Kiwanis Park.

Not by the park or near the park or beside the park. We’re IN the park. The beer garden proper sits between the river and the dog park (Ki-PAW-nis Park).

  • Yes. Plenty of it. There’s parking along Kiwanis Park Rd and overflow areas when things get busy. As an added bunus, you don’t have to drive! You can also walk, run, ride, roll, paddle or stroll your way over. Go ahead. Mosey on through the park before you head our way. You won’t regret it.

  • Nope! We do have great beer, but we also have wine, cider, and a non-alcoholic (NA) beverage program that’s worth exploring whether you’re not drinking for whatever reason, taking a break before your next round, or looking to try something new.

  • No. For our first season, we’re taking a careful approach to hosting private events. However, we can and do rent pavilion space if that’s what you’re looking for. So, please reach out and let us know what you have in mind.

  • That’s not a question, but we hear you. Good news: Friendly dogs are more than welcome. We’re in a park, after all. And Ki-PAW-nis Dog Park is right next door, so it would be a shame to leave your dog at home. All we ask is that you keep your dogs on a leash and clean up after them.

Who we are

Have you heard the one about the chemical engineer, the teacher, and the children’s book author who walk into a beer garden? We hadn’t either. That’s not exactly where the Tributary Beer Garden story begins, but it’s close.

Have you heard the one about the chemical engineer, the teacher, and the children’s book author who walk into a beer garden? We hadn’t either. That’s not exactly where the Tributary Beer Garden story begins, but it’s close. Nestled within Kiwanis Park along a gentle bend in the Sheboygan River, Tributary Beer Garden blends a commitment to exceptional service and craft beer with our love for the community we call home. And yes, it really was founded by a chemical engineer, a children’s book author, and an educator.

Sounds like an unlikely pairing? Maybe. But the chemical engineer (Jake Bray) is also a Level 2 Certified Cicerone and former beer program coordinator. The educator (Jessica Bray) brings over a decade of community building, outreach, and event planning. And the author (John Bray) has a background in marketing and communication. Of course, we also all share a love of craft beer.

Welcome to Tributary Beer Garden. We’ve got a spot for you.
