Cask Ale Friday: Sütterbräu with Orange Peel

  • Tributary Beer Garden 511 Kiwanis Park Road Sheboygan, Wisconsin, 53081 United States (map)

Finding a true, gravity-dispensed cask ale in the U.S. is a treasure. This Friday, we’ll have one right here at Tributary.

At 5:00 PM sharp, we’ll tap a pin cask of Sütterbräu hefeweizen from our friends at McFleshman’s Brewing Company in Appleton. This is the real deal: a true cask-conditioned ale served by gravity. This particular is freshly infused with orange peel, giving it a subtle citrus character.

There isn’t much beer in a pin cask, and when it’s gone, it’s gone. Cask ale is at its best fresh, so Friday night is your only chance to experience it as intended.

But this isn’t a one-off.

We’ll be tapping a new cask every Friday at 5:00 PM, giving you the perfect reason to start the weekend with us. To experience a great example of one of beer’s great traditions, we recommend being here at 5.

One more thing: the first person to order a pour and mention the pint glass gets to take one home. You have to mention it!
